The route of the Exodus and the division of the land among the Twelve Tribes are prominent. 
The Holy Land extends from the Nile to Damascus and from the Arnon Valley to the Mediterranean Sea. 

Long considered the first map of the Holy Land to use Hebrew lettering exclusively. 
From "The Amsterdam Hagadah" map by Abraham ben Yaakov , 17th Century. Published in Amsterdam in 1695.
The illustration on the right shows the story of Jonah and the whale. Above is Solomon's boat which carried the cedar trees for the construction of the Temple.
The woman on right symbolizes Africa. The eagle is the emblem of the Divine Power.
